Emily Welz is a published photographer, model, and stylist based in the Canadian prairies and open to work internationally. Before running her photography studio full-time, she worked in media and literacy advocacy.
With a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing, her passion for storytelling evolved into photography, creative direction, modelling, styling, and set design. Her many interests culminate in photography, where she feels most expressive.
Her favourite part about photography is the ability to connect with people from different walks of life to showcase their unique, beautiful energy. Even in her more serious shots, incorporating inner child whimsy and play during a shoot is an important part of her process.
